This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to our website, to any system NextEra Group builds, hosts, or operates for a client, and to anyone accessing those systems. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service and into every Engagement Agreement.
1. Prohibited conduct
You may not use our systems or services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity right.
- Transmit malware, ransomware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to a system.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network, or to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system without our prior written authorization.
- Interfere with service to any user or network, including through denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or deliberate overloading.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, phishing messages, or any communication that misrepresents its origin.
- Harvest or scrape data about other users, or use automated means to extract data except as expressly permitted.
- Circumvent authentication, rate limiting, usage quotas, or any technical restriction.
- Publish or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that depicts the sexual exploitation of minors.
2. Artificial intelligence and automated systems
Where we deliver a system that uses AI models, you additionally may not:
- Use the system to generate content that is deceptive about its machine-generated origin where disclosure is legally required.
- Use outputs to make consequential decisions about individuals — affecting credit, employment, housing, insurance, healthcare, or legal rights — without meaningful human review and any disclosures applicable law requires.
- Submit personal data to an AI feature beyond what the engagement documents authorize, or submit special-category data without a documented lawful basis and our prior agreement.
- Attempt to extract model weights, reverse engineer the underlying model, or use outputs to train a competing model where the upstream provider prohibits it.
- Rely on outputs as professional advice. AI systems can produce confident, incorrect results, and the reviewing human remains accountable for the decision.
3. Security obligations
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials issued to you, for promptly revoking access for departing personnel, and for notifying us at info@nexteragp.com as soon as you become aware of any unauthorized access or suspected compromise.
4. Security research
We welcome good-faith vulnerability reports. If you believe you have found a security issue, email info@nexteragp.com with enough detail to reproduce it. Please do not access or modify data that is not yours, degrade service, or publicly disclose the issue before we have had a reasonable opportunity to remediate. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who follow this process in good faith.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or notify law enforcement where warranted. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure first. For violations that pose an immediate risk to a system, other users, or the public, we may act without prior notice.
6. Reporting a violation
Report suspected violations to info@nexteragp.com.
